Foundational Approach
Movement pathways and proper body mechanics are first and foremost whenever we begin an exercise program. Corrective exercises will be included in the program's first month of training to ensure safe lifting practices are followed. A series of prerequisite exercises will be covered, alongside getting you on the right path to reaching your goals.

At Lifestyle Fitness we believe every body is beautiful and capable of maintaining an exercise regime. There will be no judgments here! Mandy has worked successfully with all genders, ages, and fitness capabilities, customizing programs to suit each individual's needs.

Multiple Locations
Your fitness facility should not be complicated to get to! We offer training out of your home, condo gym, or outdoors. Along with being welcome at Fluid Power training studio in Kelowna, and Mandy's Home Gym opening January 2022.

Strengthening should start from the inside out. Mandy will coach breathing techniques, proper recruitment of the internal muscles surrounding the core/torso, and use corrective exercises to ensure proper movement mechanics for strengthening the whole body.

Yes, absolutely! Exercise is both safe and beneficial to begin at any stage of pregnancy. Download your copy of the Parmed-X for pregnancy to review with your health care provider, prior to starting any exercise program. A healthy pregnancy exercise program will include resistance training, cardiovascular work, various core strengthening techniques and flexibility.

Periodization is the programs ability to look at long term goals, and break them down into shorter more focused segments to ensure progress. By working with training blocks, we can progressively overload the body in a safe manor.

Typically 4 -6 weeks post birthing is safe to begin working on strengthening the body from the inside out. Consulting a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist is highly recommended.
